The bonsai intensive is held in Hayward, California, a small community in the East bay of the San Francisco Area. Hayward is located about 25 minutes away from the Oakland International Airport and about 25 minutes away from the San Francisco International Airport.
Transportation to and from class is provided for students staying at the Comfort Suites in Castro Valley (neighboring Hayward), or by commuting to class by BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit). A shuttle will pick up students from the Castro Valley BART station at 7:50 a.m. and from the Comfort Suites at 8:00 a.m. each morning. Students will be returned to BART or the Comfort Suites at the end of each day's class. Parking is available for those students who drive to the class.
